GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5 question

Short and sweet, GIGABYTE GA-890FXA-UD5, could I effectively use DDR3 1600 memory in this board?

I've seen some sites that have tried various kinds or RAM (include the ram I was going to purchase) in that board, but the manufacturer's site doesn't list it. Would I run into any problems? :??:

The memory controller, being on the CPU these days, goes by processor families, with the BE's being the most 'capable'. AMD, nowhere I can find, documents exactly - but, I believe if you're only planning an two DIMMs (one per channel), 1600 will be fine. If you plan, either immediately or eventually, to run more than that, I would stick with 1333, or lower... If you don't plan on a BE, post a CPU p/n, and I'll try to research for you...

I did have the BE chip, but was planning on eventually having more memory.
