Can I RMA a Diamond video card without a reciept?

I think the only reason they need the receipt is to make sure that it is within the 1 or 2 year warranty period. Considering that my model was introduced less than a year ago, I don't think that would be a valid reason to reject it. I guess I'll just have to see how strictly they enforce that policy.

I did register the card just before I sent it in. It was within the 30 day limit for the second year of coverage, but I didn't need my receipt to register it. I'm hoping that they don't worry to much about it.
 
When I returned my graphics card I made my own receipt on my dot matrix printer that looked identical to a genuine one, but with made up details. Unless they contact the company they can’t check up especially if you chose a company that is no longer trading.
