Where to hold this graphics card when installling it?

Where should I hold it when installing it?

I never did it before even though it should be easy but I like to be extremely careful.

I usually grab it on the retention bracket and around the edges on the pcb. Never grab it on the pins for the slot is my main rule and of course always work in a none carpeted area.

You don't wanna touch any of the coppery contact pads or the silvery solder joints...

Edges of the board, retention bracket and the heatsink are safe to touch. And touch the metal on the case just before/while installing the card to balance any static.

Thanks for the info, most of my house is carpeted so I'll have to put it on a table I guess
