Upgraded ram and cpu now computer wont boot

Hello,
I just replaced my CPU with one that should work & upgraded the Ram. All the power comes on, but nothing at all comes up on the monitor? My motherboard is an Athalon KT4 Ultra MS-6590...

How about trying just the cpu or the ram separately?

Which one works withou the other?

replace the ram with the stuff that used to work and see if that works, that will remove one possible source of issue. Also post your full system specs. Definitely include old CPU, new CPU, and a link to the new ram kit that you got.

And now you know. Always upgrade - and test - one component at a time.

Is the new CPU compatible with your motherboard without a BIOS update?
