Best mobo for this build (i5 750)

I'm looking for the cheapest motherboard that isn't crap that will go with the following build. I might crossfire and/or overclock in the future.

I am partial to gigabyte boards.. but the MSI-GD 65 and higher are nice boards as well ( just built a system with GD65 and the client loves it

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

This ASUS P7P55D-E Pro is a very good mobo for Crossfire and OC.

By the way i am selling a 650 watt PSU because i am upgrading... i bought it for $130 spring of last year i will sell it to you for $45.

That board is fine for one card but doesn't crossfire worth a hoot.

That mobo only support Crossfire @x4 that is the same that don't have Crossfire. A good Crossfire need x16 or x8 with x4 u lost many performance.

The GD65 is also a very solid mobo, but for quality and experience is better ASUS.

Hi.

Check this and this are a little old but is basically the same process.

Keep in mind this:

1- The CPU only fit in one way so don't force it if this don't fit in the socket.
2- The RAM only fit in one way too just look for the flange in the RAM and the mobo.
3- Your HD and DVD drive are SATA not IDE so SATA also have only one way to connect.
