Hello, I removed the hard drive from my Compac Presario V 2000 to run it in an external USB enclosure on a different laptop as the motherboard is dead in the original one. I found all my docs and files, including favorite links to saved webpages but I can't find my Microsoft Outlook Express mail (Inbox, Sent Mail etc.) that gets routinely downloaded from the server. How can I find that down loaded mail? It must be on the hard drive like everything else. Do I perhaps have to install first a compatible Microsoft mail software? The current Toshiba Satellite Laptop runs on Windows 7 while the hard drive from the dead laptop was still Windows XP.
