Installed wrong ethernet driver andtrying to remove the driver however

I've installed a wrong ethernet driver on the computer and I'm trying to uninstall it then install the right driver. However, everytime I uninstall the driver and restart, computer is automatically installing the same driver again. So I'm wanting to completely erase the wrongly-installed driver then install a new driver. How can I completely erase the wrongly-installed driver?
my solution was to erase the whole driver files such as .sys .inf .pnf of the prior driver.
