They should all be similar. Differences are in bells and whistles:

I can only say I like the v.551. I have two and I have unlocked
them. (Unlocked the SIM.) I send photos and contact info to my
computer and vis-a ver-sa. It holds a lot of photos and ring tones. I
have not found an oversized (mAh rating) battery, but I find it easy
to keep it charged.

*I've been using my 551 for several weeks now and have been quite
satisfied. It's a good phone to have if you like Bluetooth accessories.
The 551's camera and video features are pretty slick. I'm still learning
some of the geekier bells and whistles. I'm glad I got mine.*

V551 - Excellent phone with great reception and all the bells and whistles.
You get most for your money with this phone.
V180 - Very good low end phone with excellent reception and very good
battery life. If you don't need all the bells and whistles, go with this
phone.
V220 - Not as good as the other two. Build quality is not that good.

I have had the V551 for almost a week now, and it is really cool, once
you learn all the options. It does not come with any games, and it ony
has limited wallpaper, ringtones, etc. Overall, it is clear, small,
great looking, and has plenty to keep you busy as a first time user! I
recommend it.
But, can anyone tell me how to put in music notes, so I can make my
own ring tones? I have some sounds to put in, but they are in some kind
of code, and I don't know how to get it to work in my phone. one
example: d=16, etc.
Can anyone who's done this successfully help me out?
