Phenom II 545 preforms worse than 7750

Hey guys, this is my first post on the forum, I have an issue that I cant figure out:

I had an Atlon X2 7750, and my friend got me a phenom II 545 for Christmas. After installing in the computer Windows Experience Index jumped up a bit but I've lost about 25fps in the far cry 2 benchmark....haven't had time to test anything else yet. Any Ideas what the problem might be, my Specs are:

Gigabyte GA-MA780G-UD3H
4 Gigs of Corsair XMS DDR2 800
Saphire 4870 512MB
Creative X-FI Xtreme Music
1 TB Seagate 7200 RPM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit

Update BIOS http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=3004

Then go look for new drivers of ATI graphic card, because AMD and ATI are making some bonus performance, and that may be lost due to CPU upgrade.

I updated the bios before I put the CPU in, I updated the drivers for the ATI Card last night after reading your post but the problem still exists, any other Ideas? Thanks

have you run anything like cpu-z to make sure your system is seeing it as the 545? and at the correct speed or more. Once I swapped out a chip and for some odd reason the bios did not notice so the one was set to the same multiplier and fsb as the old one, that was a kick in the teeth when I figured it out.
