Gtx 285 vs HD 5770

GTX285 is somewhere in the neighborhood of 5850 performance.... 5770 is slower than a GTX260 for the most part.

Go for 285 if you want REAL PERFORMANCE

thx guys i guess its gunna be Nvidia evnthough its outgunned or smthn but anyways gtx 275 is enough for me and my budget and on the looks of this chart (thx to PsychoSaysDie ) a gtx 275 is good and i checked the 5850 its past my budget i have abt 245 buck and im gunna spend em on a gtx 275

Both the GTX 275 and GTX 285 are quite overpriced at the moment. The HD4890 is similar to the GTX 275 in performance and usually MUCH cheaper;

It depends a lot of what games you intend to play. To simply say that nVidia or ATi is best doesn't feel right to me.

Yea those games will run fine with a 275 or 4890...

The 5850 and 285 are almost equal in most games but at this point in time it would be ubsurd to spend 300+ on a 285.
