Lsass exe system error invalid parameter passed to function

Installed new hard drive. Tried to reinstall windows xp when this message popped up An Invalid parameter was passed to a service or function lsass.exe System erroe, when screen is cleared it reboots to same message and will not let me finish installing windows Xp. Need Help Please.

make sure the new hard drive is plugged into SATA0 and try again. if that fails try a more modern operating system like Windows 7 or Ubuntu 12.04

If you can get to a command prompt you need to remove a setup entry from the boot.ini file which is causing it to try to continue with the install. May have to put drive in another system to edit it.
