im looking forward to buying/building a new PC over Christmas break and was looking for some chances to save money on an HDD since the prices rose so much. I think that the WD Caviar Black 1TB is a good choice and found two of them, for a really different price.

from newegg.ca

and from futureshop.ca

This is an awful time to build a PC just because of how expensive HDDs are right now. The HDDs you linked to are the same, but the futureshop site doesn't look very professional and I would stay away from it to be safe. Also, don't get concerned about SATA speeds and cache. If the engineers at WD put 16 MB of cache in those drives and used SATA I, you wouldn't even see a difference because the HDDs are just not fast enough. If you're buying the HDDs with the extra chache and interface speed, know that the only person you're fooling is yourself and you would be better off with a cheaper HDD. If there is anyone in your family or a friend that has a hard drive lying around (most people seem to) then just ask if you can borrow it and use that until HDD prices fall again. I only use WDs and have had good success with them so I agree on your choice of HDD.
