Best Memory For Me!

Hello. I have recently been upgrading my system a little bit since my last update was 3 years ago. So i have pretty much every component that i need apart from RAM. Which i am struggling to pick. I am going to be using my system mainly for gaming (yeeeeah baby ). I want to have 4GB of RAM all together so i can either have 2X2GB or 4X1GB. Cost is not particularly a problem but i don't wont to spend hundreds of pounds just for memory. I would prefer to have 4x1GB since i have heard that 1GB sticks overclock better than 2GB sticks, not by a lot but they do. Not sure if this is true though.

Note* I will be overclocking my system.

So i will be needing memory which is:
DDR2
1066MHz (PC2 8500)
240 Pin DIMM

My Specs:
Mobo: Asus P5Q Deluxe
CPU: Intel Core Quad Q9400
GPU: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 5770 Vapour-X
PSU: Corsair 750W HX
HDD: WD 500GB SATA

I would look up gskill with the lowest timings on newegg.com.

Go there and search "g skill 1066 ddr2"

Generally you get better OC performance with 2 sticks of memory rather than 4.
