Does anyone know for sure if this MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130275 will be compatible with a 6-core AMD CPU?

pretty sure it does, it is an AM3 mobo so remember, 6 core AMD cpu's are still Phenom II... which means most mobo's that support phenom II will support 6 core AMD and i saw another mobo that had the same specs AM3 and supported phenom II and it was 6-core ready for the same exact price so you are good to go

Ok, I just don't want to have to go through flashing the BIOS to make it work.

you would have to take that up with the manufacturer if that would happen lol
