My computer has a Gigabyte GA-G31M-S2L motherboard with Award BIOS, flashed to the latest version, and a 600w power supply. I changed the BIOS to give a PEG video adapter priority. I installed a new Galaxy GeForce 9500 GT PCI-X adapter. When the computer boots, nothing appears on the monitor. I've tried using both video ports. I've also tried leaving the motherboard video adapter enabled, but it too won't power the monitor if the 9500 is installed. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure it's the card. I already returned one that I thought wasn't working, and this one does the exact same thing. What are the odds of two in a row being defective?

Thanks, but there's no option to simply disable the onboard video. You can choose to either have it disabled if there's an external video adapter, or keep it enabled even when there's another adapter. I've tried both, and neither the external nor onboard video works with either setting.
