Well,Im lookin for a new graphic card and I haven't been on the subject for a long time so I saw the Nvidia GTX275 and the ATI 4890!

Which one do you think it's the best?
Both cost the same.
Plus,I heard that when you use Intel ,you should put Nvidia and if you got a AMD cpu, you should put ATI!
Is that so important?
Does it make any difference?

GTX 275 performs slightly better than HD 4890.
That thing that you have heard is wrong, you can use a Nvidia card on both Intel/AMD chipset and you can use an ATI card on Intel/AMD chipset.

At the same price go I'd probably go for the GTX 275 but the HD4890 is usually substantially cheaper(in the US at least.) The processor shouldn't be a factor at all but what may be worth considering is the SLI vs crossfire compatibility of your motherboard.

While the GTX 275 uses slower DDR3 ram it also has a wider 448-bit memory bus. The memory bandwidth is the important number and both of the cards you are asking about are basically equal at approximately 130 GB/S.

i reccomend you definitly the gtx 275 it has a ddr3 but it better than the ati 4890
and the ati have many problems i have a 4890 and i can t play games for 3 hour my system crash

Well if there both the same price, it really doesnt matter as they both perform equally, but like as previously mentioned take note of whether you have a crossfire or SLi board as you may want to add a second card later on.

Here in the UK a GTX275 will set you back roughly £30 more than a HD4890, obviously that may not be the same where you live.

I know your asking between the 275 and 4890, but have you considered a 5770??
