Windows task bar too large

Hello,
The grey bar on the top of the display is too long to access the three control buttons.
How do I return it to normal size?

The grey bar on the top of the display is too long to access the three control buttons.
How do I return it to normal size?

Right click blank area on task bar > properties > uncheck "lock the taskbar".
Point to Handles on taskbar and drag to size you want. Go back and lock the task bar when finished.
