  1. Why not 3/4 in. OD x 1/2 in. ID tubing?
  2. where is rubix_1011 when you need him lol

    See the thing is is that i have read all of those stickys on water cooling and Noob question ahead: Would i have to change my barbs to get the 3/4x1/2?
    thanks
  4. Yes.

    They look nicer and provide slightly higher flow rate.
  5. Hows this radiator im on a tight budget and i still gotta look at the tubing you suggested anyways heres the radiator.

    Preferably this is the website i want.
  6. Also is that universal GPU block any good? That is the only one i could find that was a good price for my GPU the 6850.
  7. It's good!

    Also, you don't need to even cool the 6850, it's essentially pointless.

    Why not an XSPC Raystorm?

    You also need 3 120mm fans!
  8. Im just going with it for looks im eventually gonna get tri monitors and get another graphics card. About the fans i already have that covered with 3 blue led cooler master fans. What tubing did you recommend can i get a link from that website? Thanks
  9. Another graphics card won't help you, the 6850 isn't that high end of a card ;P
  10. I know :p i was gonna sell the 6850 and my H100 later and use the money for a GTX 670 or 660 :D. So what tubing did you reccomend? I mean brand wise.

  12. Are you cooling your GPU also? It looks like from the CPU it is going back to your Res.
  13. Let me repost my edited Cart.

    Nope, 550ti's don't need watercooling :P
  15. Can you help me on this site when i select my item say the EK Spinner Black Res at the bottom it says to select Fitting size. I select the 1/2 ID barb and its an extra 4.00$ are you paying for the barbs or a certain res size?
  16. I also scrapped the GPU block so i could afford a better pump youll see :D

  18. I think you're spending too much on a fan controller.

    Are you going to use distilled water and a kill coil?

    Why UV tubing? Do you have any UV lights?
  19. Yes i have UV cold cathodes. What fan controller do you reccomend then? ive had alot of trouble with aerocool.
  20. NZXT Sentrey 2.

    Make sure you have enough fittings.

    What are you going in terms of fluids? The best setup is distilled water and a silver kill coil.

    Do you have fans?

    Im using distilled gotta buy that kill coil then. Can you answer my question about the Barbed fittings? I dont get what its saying
  22. Use compression fittings!!!!
  23. yes as i said in past posts im using my cooler master blue led fans
  24. They are a little pricey how many exactly do i need??? I dont want to buy way too many.
  25. I think I'm going blind X.X
  26. CPU BLOCK=2
    Pump=2
    Res=2
    Rad=2

    You'll need 8 :) But I would buy 9 one just in case.
  27. I cant remember but isnt Performance -PCS.com in one of the stickys?
  28. Yup, but this depends on your location.

    SVC is a good choice ;)
  29. Can you answer the question when it asks what fitting size you want on the res and pump? it asks which fitting size u want at the bottom.

  31. You want the same size as the comperssion fittings.

    1/2"barb for 1/2" ID tube

    I bought from SVC because they are roughly a 20 min drive away from me.

    I spent about $300 on everything.

    Build Log
  33. aw SVC doesnt have the CPU block that i want. They dont have the HD Apogee

    So when it says Pick the size you want you are buying them right? so it comes with it
  35. Compression fittings are a bit way to pricey for me. I think ill just run barbed fittings and clamps.

  37. Barbs are all I have ever used, they work just fine.

    That caused some confusion in Cinders other thread, I couldn't think why you would have suggested an odd number of fittings, all clear now, you want one for a necklace hehe
    Moto
  39. I think you could make a set of brass knuckles with 4x compression fittings. :)
