Intel E7500 2.93Ghz lga 775 in a dell 530s

my question is weather or not the slim model 530s can handle a cpu like this with a 250psu, with an already low profile radeon 4650 installed; any other suggestions are much appreciated! :)

  1. and perhaps a bios update? would the latest one get my machine into shape?
  2. The E7500 will not work no wolfdale or yorkfields supported on the board in that dell best you can do is a E6600 wich is a decent cpu.

    Check the specs

  4. I was looking at a US website has diffrent specs for the 530
  5. The e6600 you linked is the new model which is a 45nm part, if the Pentium E6600 works then the E7500 works too because they are based on the same newer core ( wolfadale) while the older E6600 is an older core (conroe)
