Going to be used only for gaming (1920x1080).

ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1333 8-8-8-21
gpu: Sapphire Radeon 5850
hdd: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500 GB (samsung f3 is out of stock everywhere)
case: Cooler Master HAF 922
psu: Antec EarthWatts EA650 650W Continuous Power
optical: LG DVD Burner GH24NS50

total: $913 shipped

  1. Seems pretty flawless to me. Altho for a little more, still under $1000 you could probably get a system which you could drop another 5850 into at a later date if you felt like it.

    I also picked up the antec 200 for 60$

    Other than that our builds are about the same.
    Grand total turned out to be $833 (this includes shipping, 30$ cooler, and 9$ thermal compound)
