All max settings even AA turned on. cyberkuberiah a b U Graphics card December 25, 2009 1:38:51 PM i would recommend a single 5870 , and overclock it a bit . it would be enough for everything with AA excluding crysis for which you can :- 1.for action gameplay , like completing mission and finishing the game , use slightly reduced settings (gamer , not enthusiast) . (action = high fps) , or u can use dx9 mode and all max settings . 2.for exploring , interacting and experimenting in general , just roaming about , u can use max settings in dx10 . of course u knew about the settings , this is just a strategy , as u wont notice subtle graphic differences in fast action , and gamer quality is good enough for that . with cards like 5800 coming out , no need for CF in 1080p . cf cards are harder to sell as u have 2 of em , profile and scaling issues etc . and cryengine 3/crysis 2 is coming out next year hopefully .. it would run much smoother , use dx11 even on single card setups . cyberkuberiah a b U Graphics card December 25, 2009 1:41:52 PM 5970/5850CF/5870CF are for 25x16 . swarraws December 25, 2009 1:48:48 PM money is not an issue should i get single 5850 or single 5870 Q3 of 2010 will launch high end games i just dont know weather that 1 card will be enough or no rolli59 a c 1430 U Graphics card a c 170 K Overclocking December 25, 2009 2:32:47 PM If money is a no issue go with HD5870 Maziar a c 169 U Graphics card a b K Overclocking December 25, 2009 3:05:59 PM +1^ For 1920x1200 either HD 5850/5870 would be very good, and if the money isn't an issue as other's said go for 5870 hundredislandsboy a b U Graphics card a b K Overclocking December 25, 2009 3:17:47 PM if the money isn't an issue as other's said go for two 5970s and sli them! cyberkuberiah a b U Graphics card December 25, 2009 4:00:49 PM 5870 then Rustyy117 a c 126 U Graphics card a c 126 K Overclocking December 25, 2009 4:09:29 PM If money isnt an issue buy yourself a nice 2560x1600 res monitor and a 5970 Make sure your PSU is up to the job! swarraws December 26, 2009 7:18:15 AM thanks alot already ordered 5870 Maziar a c 169 U Graphics card a b K Overclocking December 26, 2009 7:23:52 AM Nice, hope you'll enjoy it ryman546 March 4, 2010 8:28:03 PM should have went for 4 5870's if money isnt a problem. just my .02 Raidur a b U Graphics card March 4, 2010 10:10:43 PM +1 5870 and another later when needed.
