When ever I try to access my harddrive it comes up with "a: disk not accessible parameter incorrect" and then "You need to format A: disk before you can use it" I have tried everything. Ran a Checkdisk, renamed the disk, reset the USB ports and even seen if I can access it on another computer. Obviously I don't want to format the drive and what to see if there any possible cure???
A: usually refers to a floppy disk drive (FDD). It is possble that your BIOS is configured for a FDD and you don't actually have one installed. If that is the case, you simply need to enter your BIOS and disbale the FDD there.
