A: disk not accessible parameter incorrect

When ever I try to access my harddrive it comes up with "a: disk not accessible parameter incorrect" and then "You need to format A: disk before you can use it" I have tried everything. Ran a Checkdisk, renamed the disk, reset the USB ports and even seen if I can access it on another computer. Obviously I don't want to format the drive and what to see if there any possible cure???

  1. A: usually refers to a floppy disk drive (FDD). It is possble that your BIOS is configured for a FDD and you don't actually have one installed. If that is the case, you simply need to enter your BIOS and disbale the FDD there.

If that is not the situation, then let us know.

    Good luck!
