Stick with the HD 4670 512MB Gddr3
EDIT:I think u have a HD 48xx series gfx card then y u need a cheap gfx card?

Make sure the ram is GDDR3 and not GDDR2. GDDR2 is slow, and very old ram, which some of the 9600gso's have.

Why do you need an additional card?
From your dxdiag report, it is seen that you have an E5200 paired with a 4890. This is a very unbalanced system, as the cpu isn't nearly enough to drive your gpu. If you want more performance, I suggest you upgrade your cpu (assuming you can't OC due to the HP mobo).
