More about compatible motheboard core quad 8ghz 12mb cache
  1. Newegg.com > motherboards > LGA775 > DDR3 support > sort by highest price > buy a Gigabyte.
  2. please say which model of gigabyte
  3. 1. Any P45 MB will work.

    2. You won't see the difference between ddr2 and ddr3

I suggest ASUS P5E3 PRO if you still want a ddr3 LGA775 mb.

  4. +1 no difference between ddr2 and ddr3 in many circumstances

Asus p5Bdeluxe is good, but the newer boards will probably be better.
  5. to be honest any socket 775 should do you. There is no point in going for DDR3 on a core 2 processor. Just look for the motherboard that suits your needs (atx vs. mini atx, number of pci-x slots, if USB 3 needed, sound card 5.1 or 7.1 etc.etc.), in my opinion best makes are ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE. DDR3 really only outperforms DDR2 with an i-5/i-7 otherwise it's just throwing money away.
  6. now presently i am using a gigabyte g41-es2l mother board...but every one says that even though the mother board supports core 2 quad 2.8ghz with 12 mb cache...but it doesnt run fast and may hang...
So with which mother board will i get the perfomance of that processor...
the recommended one PLEASE reply friends
