as long as you have three or more memory slots (im assuming it has 4) you can still install the additional stick. but it wont be running in dual mode, and therefore you could potentiaslly lose some performance. i would recomend swtiching out for a dual kit instead.

other than that, it seems like a very good build. im not too sure about the PSU though. have you checked otu some reviews. the PSU is probably the msot important part of a system, and one you dont want to skimp on. i would highly recomend grabbing a corsair one instead. you certainly dont need anywhere near 750w for that build, so you could always drop down to a 650 or 550 if the corsair is more expensive though.

it worth doing, since a bad PSU can wreak havoc on a system.
  2. Ok I was wrong about that Patriot Viper being the best option, here is some that is dual channel, cheaper and just as fast: OCZ Intel Extreme Edition Dual Channel 2048MB DDR3 1333MHz Cas 7 $99
  3. You should get a 2x2GB kit (4GB total) , that OCZ extreme is only 2GB total (2x1GB).
  4. thx guys for all your help
