Hey, I am sure this is a really basic question but i dont know the answer. So atm i have a 1tb hard drive and i took out a old sata hardrive from a laptop (30gb) and i just want to use it as storage nothing special. SoDo i have to set up a raid to use it as storage?I was told this by a friend but i didn't really believe it i thought i just plug in the drive the same way my current drive is plugged in.

Ty for the time

You do not have to set up any raid in order to use that hdd , just plug it in and assign it a drive letter.
