PS3 Motherboard battery

Last response: in Motherboards

Hello,
I know this isn't strictly a PC question, but I was wondering if anyone knew how to short out the battery on a PS3 motherboard.
The battery and its enclosure is much the same as i've seen on typical PC's. I need to short it so that the systems' EEPROM is flashed, but as I've never done this before I was wondering if anyone had any information on how to do it.

Thanks for reading

If you take out the battery, when the computer is unplugged from power, and short the battery connector terminals for 15 seconds, it will clear the CMOS.
There is also a jumper on the board that does the same thing.
Download the entire manual from the Asus website. It has the majority of the details. Study the manual first, and learn how to do it.
