Are there different kinds of Sata3 cables? Is it possible to get the wrong one?

I just bought an internal Chronos 120 GB SSD and I went to go buy a sata 3 cable and found that there are tons of different kinds. Does it matter which one I buy?

No difference whatsoever between SATA cables other than length, color, and connector angle. They're all spec'd the same.

Not true for USB 3.0 cables though. Those cables allow for different power requirements. They are backwards compatible with USB 2.0 devices, and USB 3.0 devices can also be run on USB 2.0 cables, except they'll run at USB 2.0 speeds.

You will find the answer in this thread http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/300583-31-sata-sata-cable there are substandard cables on the market but if market SATA3 they should meet the standard.
