Can I overclock with this MB?

I have a ga-m68mt-s2 Motherboard and an AMD Phenom II x6 1100T CPU. I ordered a corsair H80 water cooler to help with the OC. Also I got 1333MHz DDR3 Ram @ 8GB. Can I OC, Yes or No?

    Yes.

    will it fry my motherboard?
  3. No, it won't fry your motherboard but that microATX board is NOT a good overclocker.
  4. Unless you're aiming for a high OC like 4+ ghz it'll do just fine.
  5. I was planing to get at least 4.0GHz, so in my case, I will be fine? Stock clock speed is 3.3GHz

    You'll be fine.
  7. okay, thanks. any tips for overclocking so I dont damage any of my components?
  8. It should be OK, just keep an eye on the temperatures and do small increments in voltage till it's stable.
  9. Thanks guys for the responses and help. ill post if I have any problems.
  10. Damn, definetly not a good idea OCing a 1100t on a 4+1 phase board, I hope he didn't fry it yet, I need to look into these things more :??:

    Nice sticky BTW.
  11. Nope, never figured out what your signature meant..
  12. Oh you meant the VRM thread lol
  13. Aren't there any boards out there with more than 8+2 regulators?
