DIsk Error Occured - XP

Hello,
Whenever i turn on my hp mini running win-XP, I get A disk error occurred. PressCtrl+Alt+DEl. I cannot boot to saf mode or even run diagnostics. kindly help

It sounds like the drive died. Can you put the drive in another computer and see if it can be read from there?
