Hey guys looking for a budget mobo so i can practice out oc skills.Later on i can oc on water.

Anyway my cpu is phenom II BE 955 and i was thinking of going for an Asus M5A97 EVO any thoughts? i am trying first massive ocs on air then later go water God willing. My current budget is around $100(can go higher if must).Any good ram that i need for great overclocks?
though gpu i am not sure yet..Might get a 6770 to learn to oc that first.

Any input would be great.Overall i am trying for an entire system oc.Still a noob at OC. :(

Nice board, or this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131754

Or a couple of open boxes http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100006654&IsNodeId=1&Description=asus%20am3&bop=And&CompareItemList=%2D1%7C13%2D131%2D767R%5E13%2D131%2D767%2DZ01%2C13%2D131%2D736R%5E13%2D131%2D736%2DTS

I would go for the Sabertooth personally, otherwise for budget the M5A97 open box is cheap.

I would go GTX460 rather than 6770, great OC'ers, better performance and a good price.

thanks. But i am buying hardware more for oc rather than performance. Most of the time i will use the pc for oc.Do you still think the gtx460 is still worth it to learn ocing?
