Every card is different, just use the sliders in CCC to increase clock speeds until it becomes unstable, then back them down a bit. Keep an eye on temperatures, but so long as you aren't increasing the voltage, you should be safe.
Voltage increases are generally safe also if you know what you're doing. 99% of people who blow up their stuff were just too greedy to accept that their hardware won't be stable at X speed and X voltage like "that" forum guy, or like X review, even if it doesn't warrant any noticeable speed boost, just for the bragging rights. So they keep pushing and pushing and pushing and reach almost 20% over-voltage and still ain't stable and they go desperate cause that guy got 500 more 3DMARKS so they push it just a bit more then.... it smokes.
