Xp prob

my pc keeps restarting it gets to the screen where the windows xp on the black screen is displayed then goes back to the boot start over and over i have got programs on it that i realy cant lose i am not a tech so the simpler the answer the better

boot into safe mode (F8) - Select disable auto restart on system error.

Will receive bsod on next boot - search the stop code, using another computer. ---- Or, boot from Windows CD and repair your OS.

Boot into safe mod
---> Right click on my computer and go to properties
---> Select advance tab then select "startup and recovery settings"
---> uncheck radio button of "automatic restart" then apply, exit and restart the computer.
