Alignment prints black but black still does not print afterwards lexmark

Please I need help, alignment prints ok, black and color. But the black will not print afterwards in documents, the color will print fine. I have a lexmark x6170, using vista drivers for windows 7. I have uninstalled and reinstalled
the printer. Cleaned cartridge, cleaned printer assembly. The printer was fine until I installed a new refurbished
color ink cartridge from walmart. Please, does someone have any suggestions or solutions. Thanks so much in advance.

Wrong forum for this, I would contact lexmark, how long have you had the printer?
