DDR 3 TIMINGS Tags: Motherboards DDR3 RAM Last response: July 23, 2010 2:58 PM in Motherboards Share karthik_11 July 21, 2010 11:06:23 AM I have intel dg41kr motherboard which supports 1066mhz ddr3 ram.I have kingston 1333mhz ddr3 2gb running on my system.But the ram is running on 1066mhz.in the bios i have an option of running the ram on 1333mhz. can i run it and will it destroy the memory chip. in cpu z the details dram frequency 533mhz fsb ram 5:8 CL 7 tRCD 7 tRP 7 tRAS 20 tRFC 60 CR 1T can i successfully run this at 1333mhz or do i have to change anything. also the chip must not be destroyed it is a brand new one. also by changing will i see any performance difference. The mobo that u have only support 800MHz or 1066MHz RAM even with the correct times in the BIOS the system will not run at 1333MHZ and could be unstable. karthik_11 July 23, 2010 2:02:26 PM will these settings give me better performance at 1066mhz speed?
