DDR 3 TIMINGS

I have intel dg41kr motherboard which supports 1066mhz ddr3 ram.I have kingston 1333mhz ddr3 2gb running on my

system.But the ram is running on 1066mhz.in the bios i have an option of running the ram on 1333mhz. can i run it

and will it destroy the memory chip. in cpu z the details

dram frequency 533mhz

fsb:dram 5:8

CL 7

tRCD 7

tRP 7

tRAS 20

tRFC 60

CR 1T

can i successfully run this at 1333mhz or do i have to change anything.

also the chip must not be destroyed it is a brand new one.

also by changing will i see any performance difference.

Hi.

The mobo that u have only support 800MHz or 1066MHz RAM even with the correct times in the BIOS the system will not run at 1333MHZ and could be unstable.

Those are good timings and maybe u won't see any difference between 1066 and 1333 with that configuration.
