ATI 3200 graphics display adapter-movies play jerky

I have a acer aspire 5532 with a ati radeon 3200 graphics display adapter. When I play a DVD the movie is jerky at times. I played the movie from a external DVD player/recorder and it's still jerky. I then added a third media player and it's still jerky. Could the prioblem be graphics adapter?

We need to know which cpu you have in your laptop.
Juct right click on the my computer icon, select properties, then make a note of all the specifications in teh "Computer:" section

Also, try using VLC, and make sure that hardware acceleration is enabled.

I don't understand what you mean in speaking about vlc

Hi Michael,
Figured out that VLC was a media player. Downloaded it and funny thing-no more jerky videos.
