Well, I just bought a Antec 3 Speed from MicroCenter, and I opened it, I tried to put the screws in the holes but it doesn't screw in.

I mean it goes in the hole a little bit, but doesn't screw in.

The screw is 1 centimeter.

Any help would be appreciated.

The screws supplied with case fans are quite a course thread and are designed to make a thread in the holes on the fans themselves - this is to ensure a tight secure fit.

Yeah, they are "self-tapping" screws. As you turn them in (and it DOES take effort) they cut their own threads in the fan's plastic molded case holes. With this type if you ever have to remove the screws and then re-install, be gentle on the re-install so you can get its threads lined up with the pre-cut grooves it left behind earlier.
