Help overclocking a intel core i5 2500k

If i wanted to overclock a intel core i5 2500k to lets say 4.7-4.8ghz should i increase the voltages strait to about 1.350v or start at defult and overclock to 4.0 and keep increasing it untill it is unstable and then increase the voltage?

Iam new to overclocking.

    In general, it's best to go little by little with the multi and Vcore until you get stable at the speed you want. I imagine that 1.350V will be too little for 4.8, but you may be lucky.
