Hi,

I have a wireless router sent to me by my ISP (Sky). There is no identification on it as to what company made it.

However, my problem is, the person who set up my wireless network changed the username and password on the router and I need to get into the settings to open two ports.

Short of drop kicking my router and buying a new one, how can I get into the router settings?

Many thanks in advance,

x

I have read that the default Sky username is admin and password is sky, have you tried these yet?

If that doesn't work you can reset the router. This will remove any configuration that is currently in place and reset the router to factory defaults. To do this use a paperclip or similar item to hold down the reset button on the router for about 10 seconds. The router should reboot and come online with default settings.

After this is done connect your computer to one of the LAN ports and go to http://192.168.0.1 and configure your router.
