Lenovo T61 not recognizing External HD with BlacX:Resolved

Hello,
I believe I discovered the reason for the T61 not recognizing my external HD through the BlacX device. I have a HD password on the External HD and since this HD was configured for a different laptop i.e. a Dell Latitude 630 I cannot remove the HD password via the Lenovo T61. If I can remove the HD password I believe the BlacX device will then be able to see the External HD and assign a drive letter to it within the T61.
