The GTX275 would be significantly better, the 9800GTX is slightly weaker than a GTS250 and a GTX275 is quite a bit stronger.

Jesi li Bosanac???

Ja bih ti preporučio 9800 GTX ako je u pitanju budžet

Ako para ima, onda GTX 275 1792 megabajta

Sretno

Either card will be significantly bottle necked by a Pentium 4 processor.

A better option is to upgrade your motherboard/processor (and get DDR2 or DDR3 RAM if yours currently DDR1) in order to see any noticeable improvements.

Also consider ATI cards, since they perform just as good and are a good bit cheaper.

The optiplex gx620 is getting out dated. There is no way that you can fit a dual slot card in that case. The best I can recommend is a single slot HD4650/70 or GT240 card that might fit that case. Then again you might need a low profile card hard to tell from the pictures http://www.dell.com/us/en/dfh/desktops/optix_gx620/pd.a... Anything more powerful is going to be seriously hampered by the rest of the system.

You think that the gtx275 can not get in my pc, that the card is to big to get in the slot, or what?

^ I think he's referring to either the case is too small or it doesn't have the correct PCIe slot.

Do you know if your mobo can support Core2s?

If not, you should buy a new mobo + cpu, and if your RAM is at least 667MHz, reuse the RAM.
CPU can be either intel or AMD. (preferably AMD since they have better budget components)

Upgrading a CPU will help a lot.

There's 2 full-sized slots, but either they have a custom mobo or they are using a riser card, if you want to use a 2-slot card I won't recommend anything larger than a 5750.
Try to find a single-slot 4850.

If you look at the tech specs at the bottom the best they support is a Pentium D 840, however a Pentium 4 HT would be fine, if he currently have Pentium 4 HT at 3GHz then it should be OK.

Which CoD are you playing?

^ Not just any dual core, but a PentiumDual or Core2. (Not Pentium D's because those are horrible)

Recent editions of Athlon x2s or Phenom x2s are fine as well

According to this http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/opgx620/e... your computer only supports low profile cards the best one out to date is this one http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... it is a 9600GT. It will be well matched with your CPU and is multiple times better than the integrated it shipped with.

hhmm nothing better? :(  :(

can i do something to put a better card?

ps. in 2-3 months i will put a new processor

Facts are the form factor of your PC allows for one low profile cards.
GTX275 is not only big it is dual slot and way to powerful for your current system which is out dated.
The only reason for you to get a GTX275 is to go with a complete new system. You could reuse optical drives and hard drives and possibly ram although I would recommend faster ram.

It will work but the GPU will be held back by the CPU. To get the max out of GTX275 you will need a modern dual core CPU at about 3.0Ghz.

ok, so, to finish the discusion, a bigger case, more power, Electricity, the great GTX275, and a new processor.
