BF3 freezes when overclocking

as the title says, bf3 when i oc my gpu, i use amd overtune, in catalyst control centre, and half way through a round, it just freezes, when i set it to default, it doesnt happen

I have
GPU: POWERCOLOR HD7750 1gb gddr3
MOBO: intel DH77kc
psu: antec 750w
ram: 8 gigs
Cpu: Intel core I5 3450 3.10ghz

And one more thing, i only installed one fan on the side of my case where there is space for two, could this be overheating my system and causing this?

More about freezes overclocking
  1. Looks like overheating. You'll just shorten your GPU's life span doing that better have it run on normal
  2. You can't say its Overheating, Its possible, But even failed GPU OC can freeze the computer or even say Display Driver Stopped Responding error.

Point is, he did not give enough info.

When you OC your GPU, Whats the default core/memory speeds? How far are you OCing them? Also I would like to know what Driver version are you using? I havn't herd of the term "overtune" in years on the ATI platform leads me to baleave that your using a driver on the disc that came with the HD7750.

    We need info please!
  3. Not enough info ;P
