I'm trying to work out what ram this motherboard takes its.. Asus P7H55-M Intel H55. ( no mention of pro on the website)
I notice it says it has ddr2 ram slots available but is advertised as being able to use ddr3, i'm so confused. help please.

DDR3, as you will be getting an 1156 socket CPU - ie: i3, i5, or i7 8xx series - and they all support DDR3.

Go to Memory/Device support. Download the file for whichever CPU you're getting (Lynnfield or Clarkdale)

If you aren't sure which is which, just google your CPU and you should find out pretty quickly which architecture it is.
