can i raid 2 hardrives that are identical specs wise but are from different companies
1st hdd
size 2tb
cache?
rpm 5400 or 5900rpm forget
2nd
size 2tb
cache?
rpm 5400 or 5900 rpm forgot
can i raid 0 these drives

Even thought he answer is "yes, it is possible" I like to see identical drives with the same specs, from the same manufacturer, and from the same batch.

Modern drives have drive specific information on the drives. Therefore drives of the same capacity from two different manufacturers are technically not the same.

Yes it will work. No you shouldn't use raid. There's a better way.

Use them as separate disks or consider JBOD if your motherboard has that feature.
