Intel DG31PR supporting Processor and RAM?

okay
i had a Intel 946 PCI Express but i was try to update BIOS, therefore system was hanged and I lost my motherboard
after that I purchased Intel DG31PR I have 1.60 Dual Code and 512 DDR2 but system is not working fine why?

What exactly isn't working? Is the computer booting up, beeping, etc.

Do you know what speed the RAM runs at?
