User can create files but cannot delete it from network drive

i would appreciate if any 1 can help me out in the following query:
I WANT USER TO CREATE/MODIFY FILES ON FILE SERVER BUT THEY SHOULD/CANNOT ABLE TO DELETE IT. HOW CAN I DO IT ? I AM USING SERVER 2008 FOR MY FILE SERVER
PLS REPLY AT YOUR EARLIEST.

I thought in the Security settings of the Folder you can assign access right like create, read, write, modify, delete, etc... for a group or a person
