More about : power design Lmeow a b V Motherboard July 23, 2010 10:41:07 PM The more power phases you have, generally speaking the more stable your overclock will be. rogue woopa July 24, 2010 12:10:05 AM hhhmmm cause im looking at the rampage 3 extreme and the p6x58D the R3E has an 8+3+3+3 power design and the p6x58D has a 16+2 looks like the p6 would get a higher stable clock but... the r3e has dual 8 pin power plugs how would that effect anything?? the p6 is a hundred dollars cheaper now i dont know if its because its 4 way instead of 3 way or what.
