i didn't do a recover immediately as my motherboard packed up and had to wait a week to get a new is it still possible to recover the data even though the drive has being formatted cause i tried it on my brothers pc and i used get data back ntfs and after the scan it doesn't show the files i want to recover it shows file that i used to have 10 years ago can you help me on that thanks

You can try recuva, but if getdataback didn't find the files, I'm not sure this will.

i've tried both and all they show is that it recovers files from ten years ago but thanks for posting
