I have a HP XW8000 Workstation, which was given to me by my cousin and was in a poor software condition, which has now been sorted out (Vista to XP Pro).

The system had a Nvidia 7300 gt 512MB agp card with on board sound.

I have so far installed a Xtreme Fidelity sound (works fine with Nvidia) but when I upgrade the video card to a Radeon X1950 Pro. I loose the video.

If I take out the sound card, I then get the picture back on the Radeon X1950 Pro.

The Radeon X1950 pro and Xtreme Fidelity sound card has come out of my last PC, which had a 650W PSU and worked fine.

The Radeon X1950 pro uses a lot of power to work, so therefor the 450W PSU in the HP is under powered and needs to be upgraded to something better.

I cant use the PSU out of my old PC because it has a square 4 pin connector, which goes on the board but the HP requires 2 rectangle 6 pin connector on the motherboard.

So please were can I get a uprated PSU for my HP XW8000 - Thanks

Cheap as possible but then again money is not an issue.

The original PSU is 450 watts.

Advance Technologies is just down the road from me and the only PSU they do in Antec above 450W is Antec 850W.

Compared to the 7300 GT the Radeon uses alot of power but it's only a 66 watt card, a 450 watt psu is more than enough power.

From the documentation you've given it seems that you need a psu with a 14 pin ATX connector, I haven't seen one like it and the Antecs certainly don't have it.

I think you have only read first part of the thread and not the whole!
