Hi all,

i am trying to build my own Gaming PC and have settled for something like this:

C2D E8400
MSI P45 NEO3-FR
KHX PC2-8500 4GB RAM KIT (2X2)
MSI 5850 RADEON 1GB GDDR5
Creative SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio PCI
ANTEC TWO HUNDRED
Zalman ZM-600-HP 600W PSU
24" S2409W
SAMSUNG DVD WRITER

I am open to ideas and really need as much inputs as possible. I have a leftover budget of 300 to spare. My main concerns are possibilities of future XFire-ing and whether is 5850 bottlenecked by the other components.

Thanks in advance and a happy new year =D

Take $100 of the $300 you have left over and upgrade your processor to a i5-750 (+$50), your motherboard to a MSI P55-GD65 (+$50), and your memory to DDR3 RAM ($0). Now you can crossfire in the future, and will not even come close to bottlenecking your one or two 5850 in the future.

Good luck with your build.
